My adventure began with a cross-country move at eight, setting the stage for a life of exploration and adaptation. I've lived in Oslo, explored Europe, managed a London office at 21, and studied in Japan. Each experience enriched my understanding of business and people, honing my skills in problem-solving and adaptability that I bring to every client relationship today.

The Spark That Started Everything

Facing the challenges of a rapidly evolving job market sparked an epiphany: the very technology complicating my job search could be harnessed to solve similar issues for others. This realization ignited my mission to help businesses and professionals leverage AI, reducing administrative burdens and focusing on meaningful, creative work.

Change has always been my compass. But the change that defined everything came in February 2024, when I was laid off after a career that had taken me across continents, industries, and 25+ years of international business leadership.

A Journey Across Continents

My career took me from managing a London office at 21 to leading customer success teams that exceeded $13M revenue goals, to scaling a SaaS company from $6M to $100M. I had lived in Oslo, studied in Japan, and built teams across continents. I understood business at a deep, operational level.

What I did not understand was AI. Not yet.

The Spark That Started Everything

After the layoff, I made a deliberate choice. Instead of stepping back into a familiar role, I leaned into the one thing every business around me was trying to figure out: AI.

I learned it the same way my clients do. By using it in my own business, with no tech background, no shortcuts, and plenty of moments where I had no idea what I was doing.

That journey turned out to be my greatest qualification. Because I know exactly what it feels like to start from zero, and I know exactly how to get you to the other side.

By July 2024, AI Edge Consulting was open for business. And the work has been extraordinary ever since.
